2. This is not medical advice
Nothing on this platform is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and nothing here creates a doctor–patient relationship. Everything we publish concerns the non-clinical side of running a practice.
You remain solely responsible for your own clinical judgement, and for complying with the National Medical Commission’s regulations, your State Medical Council’s rules, and every other obligation that applies to you.
3. The Practice Health Score
- It scores your own answers about the operational side of your practice. It does not assess medical care or clinical quality.
- It is not a clinical assessment, an audit, an accreditation, or a certification.
- It is only as accurate as the answers you give it.
- The report is a starting point for your own thinking, not a professional recommendation, and not a guarantee of any result.
4. Your personal data
Governed by the Privacy Policy, which is written to align with the DPDP Act, 2023 and forms part of these terms. We collect only what you type in, use it only for the purpose we told you, never sell it, and you may withdraw consent and have your data erased at any time.
5. What you agree to
- Give accurate information, and do not impersonate anyone else. Section 15 of the DPDP Act allows penalties for false or frivolous claims.
- Never send us patient data or clinical records.
- Do not attempt to break into, disrupt, scrape or reverse-engineer this website.
- Do not hold yourself out as speaking for The Medical Marvel.
6. Our content
The writing, the podcast, Doctors Compass, the book, the assessment and its scoring belong to The Medical Marvel, protected by the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999. You may read it, use the ideas, and share a link. Please do not republish or resell it. Quoting a short passage with attribution is welcome.
7. Fees
The website, the Practice Health Score and Doctors Compass are free. The book is sold by its retailer, on that retailer’s terms, not ours.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent Indian law allows, the platform is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for loss arising from decisions you take because of it. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Grievances
- Grievance Officer: required by law, a named person must be appointed
An unresolved data complaint may be escalated to the Data Protection Board of India.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Pune, Maharashtra, to be confirmed have exclusive jurisdiction.
